I could write paragraph after paragraph about what an amazing event this 5K was. But then I would start to cry and babble and ramble and my heart would start to hurt. So I will keep this short and simple and just say, that the Carpenter Family is one of the most amazing families that I have ever met. I met Beth through MOPS a few years ago when she was in my small group and I always knew what an amazing friend and momma she was. On September 7th, 2010, her and her families’ lives changed forever when Jack, the youngest of Beth and Allan’s 5 kids, was hit and killed in a tragic hit and run accident. One year later, the Carpenters are keeping Jack’s memory alive through the Jacks Forever 3 Foundation. Please take a moment and go to their website and read Jack’s story and all that his family is doing to help promote driver awareness and to benefit other children in their community. I was absolutely honored to be a part of this event and can’t wait to do it again next year!!!!!!

Had a great time again this year at the 3rd annual CCF golf outing! Thanks Ryan and Sara for asking me to be a part of a great cause!! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
