Wow..I have some serious catchin up to do with my Project 52 but I am re-motivated(is that a word) this morning after seeing the fantastic Dane Sanders speak last night in Dayton. I had heard of Dane before but wasn’t completely familiar with his work or what he was about. To say I was blown away is an understatement. I am inspired after last night to push myself not only creatively but professionally and personally as well. You can check out Dane’s amazingness HERE.
So Week 11..Up. I took this pic while out on a walk at Glenwood Gardens a few weeks ago and I just like the perspective of it. I’ll be back with weeks 12, 13, 14, 15…..sooner or later. I have a feeling I’m going to have like 5 posts a day in December. Thanks for taking the time to look!

So this weeks theme is “Fear”. Yuck. I hate fear. Fear is such a jerk. I’d love to take fear outside and punch him right in his big, fat, ugly face. I have a couple major fear issues but we won’t get all crazy deep this week. Lets just say, one of my biggest fears is the fear of failure. Just failure in general. As a mom, as a friend, as a wife, as a nurse, as a photographer. Do I need to go on? I just dont wan’t to fail mmmkay? It scares the bejesus out of me. So hence, the big fat failing ’F’ in this weeks pic. Nuff said. Thanks for looking!

I had so many cute pics this week that I could’ve used for ‘play’. We got lots of park time in with the warmer weather….but I liked this one because it incorporated both themes. Thanks for stoppin by for a look!

No you are not seeing things…I am seriously caught up with my project 52. I’m pretty amazed myself. I can’t take all the credit though…I finally parted ways with my dinosaur of a computer this week and upgraded to a quicker, fancier model. Um. Life changing. I can actually edit more than 2 pictures an hour….and I’m not even exaggerating. K..so this week…Green. I could’ve gotten a little bit more creative with this but dag nabbit just be satisfied that I did it okay??? Okay.

So this is about as macro as I could get with a 50mm lens….I found this old wasp nest in the backyard the other day..This is SOOC…sharpened slightly and thats it.:)

So this weeks choice for themes was ‘Hearts’ or ‘Obsession’….couldn’t decide so I went with both:) I do love me some M & M’s.

Yep…In case you were wondering…I’m a week behind. What’s new? I’ll catch up, I promise! Just some little tiny berries this week with some fun texture added in:) Nothing fancy. But this weeks theme is tiny….and that they are…so there ya go.

I know, I know…I’m late….But better late than never! This weeks Project 52 theme is *Abandoned* and between sick kids, work and a snowstorm….I just couldn’t seem to get in the creative groove. I don’t think I left the house for 5-6 days straight! So, okay..Abandoned. Hmm. I took this pic of the little birdhouse thingy on my front porch…It *kinda* looks abandoned, right?
Maybe a little? Like a little squirrel was trying to stock it up with acorns and then heard me come out and took off……maybe? Sort of? Okay..Im stretching it aren’t I? I’ll do better this week. Promise. Maybe.

Woohoo! GO me! Week 2 of Project 52 and I’m still going strong! I decided to hook up with a Project 52 group to help keep the creative juices flowing. I decided to follow Paint the Moons, ‘Lets Do 52 Project’. Each week there are 2 themes to choose from. This week the themes were ‘togetherness’ and ‘metal’. I chose metal…simply because I couldn’t think of anything for togetherness except a pic of my sweet kiddos..and I figured I needed to think outside the box just a bit…so anywho….Here is my pic for the week:)
This is just a metal/wire bowl that I bought at the antique mall to keep fruit in in my kitchen. I backlit it with a flameless candle and thought the shadows from the far side of the bowl looked pretty cool. I ran Florabella’s Cashmere action and tweaked a little and thats it:) Thanks for letting me share!
